The good news is there is much care

Exhibited from within those stares
But some of it is sliding on thin ice
For fragility of life is attested to in spite

You could be coming from a much better place
Were you in fact sitting on top of a greater trace
Of healthy acquisition of some really good habits
Instead of your own mixed array of rare tidbits

Amassed hypocrisy of eclectic views from all over
Some of which should've been boiled in clover
Along with sprigs of rosemary, parsley and thyme
A liberal sprinkling of which always provides rhyme

And reason for you to be so pretentiously health-conscious
When apart from me - you resort to pizza amidst torturous
Complaints of heartburn which contributed to sleeplessness
Astride letters of admonition to me entreating me to be less

Disorganized and fully imbued with quite so much mess
When my life is closer to "cleanliness next to Godliness"
For even though cluttered ... it shines with good health
Which I've acquired through practice by alternate stealth

And thus now know where I do not ever again wish to be
For even though this life is mine - I do live it entirely free
Of confusion, stress, speculation, idealizing and fantasy
Which, unlike your own - is encased in all these quantities

So don't come at me with all your teachings of a better life
Until you stand in a better place ... and reduce your own strife
Starting with your nasty habits which do so abuse your own body
Then you might be in a more acceptable place from which to prod me
