Young folks seem to feel age is a crime

For their world scopes in ways not fine
So they harass mercilessly without care
For you've dared to venture into their ...

Line of vision, and are just in same place
They feel you've no right to share space
So they accost you with words demeaning
Coming from a place without good feeling

They need to open up their minds to others
And not throw their insults from under cover
Of anonymity - their very own protective layer
From which they think they hide - nary a prayer

For behavior gross and unjust will beget return
And then they will turn around - after the burn
For some will make them see their intolerance
And muzzles on the mind will be no defense ...
