There are many commitments we can make in life

But the very best ones are to ourselves to avoid strife
And this means setting up a complete value system
Which we use to structure our life with full hems

Around the edges sewn with a nice tight stitch
To keep our material from falling apart or itch
And once we've completed the task of seaming
Then we can start to go thru our lives beaming

Because we know we've pulled things quite tight
And this makes us feel so very secure and bright
For those values are laid out all along the cloth
And nobody else can turn them over in the rough

For we know deep down in our souls they're there
And we're comfortable with them even when bared
As we've made commitment to ouselves to not waiver
And thus we know our clothes are transparent forever
