Under the skin - a phrase covering two things

One is when people get to you deep within

In a nasty way - for they create crawling skin

And this can rub you the wrong way at begin



And then there's the nice way - with good vibes

Which some do as they infuse your very insides

And you are elated the moment you see or hear

Their voice or their words - for they bring no fear



Some of these folks'll always give you good cheer

And thus you will always hold them near and dear

For their ways of sharing thoughts and words too

Will give good feelings for they ring so very true



It would be wonderful to have only these kinds of pals

For folks who share truthfully and honestly are pearls

And so your heart goes out to them in every single way

For it's full of blessings for them on each and every day
