Promises made, promises kept

Until new vision changes mindset
And then the egg cracks and runs
For another has appeared unstrung

So you go with the very moment
Forgetting all before this honing
For you grab at the prize offered
And enjoy only that - stoppered

Knowing there's no door elsewhere
But not caring at all for it's right there
So you absorb it all into mind and body
Not considering it may only be a hobby

Instead of an opportunity paving the way
To a bright future and a so much better day
For your senses have been dulled a little
And the moment is taken ... after a whistle
