The fields and roads outside today are covered with snow and slush

Creating messy walking conditions and then interiors are not plush
For it is all carried in upon feet and clothes and the coat of the dog
And then messes need to be cleaned up before they become a bog

And this slush directly describes yet another condition permeating all
The one in which exchanges are made pretending love does enthrall
Syrupy words filled with fantasy-driven feelings without any solid base
Vibrations travelling on gusts of air which wend their way thru space

And you stare in disbelief at the words pretending so very much care
Knowing full well it's all in the mind for their actions show other dares
And so you dismiss the slushiness as part of their own unreal fantasy
For the only real love feelings come with actual body-shared ecstasy

As REAL people with REAL LOVE in their hearts share REAL space and time
Something everyone eventually does when another makes them feel so fine
And those who have done so - and met those real people right face-to-face
Have shared something wonderful, for they've become part of each's space

And thus on this day they would have experienced another kind of slushiness
Which epitomizes feelings shared without any substance at all under the mess
Wet snow which breaks apart and melts immediately as feet are placed down
Showing the unreal strength in its texture, just the same way - cyber-love sounds
