Just one week to spring

And now snow's the thing

Not really at all very much

Enough to instill winter's touch



Quite missing over past months

Recent cold temps caused some

Concern over a few freezing drafts

And extra insulation placed in parts



Now have brought some cosy warmth

As beyond taped glass, falls snowstorm

Cuddling up away from the bitter cold  

A man and a dog alone, getting old ...
