Summer temperatures a month ago

Now a coldness beyond any snow

Suddenly crept in without warning

As warmth waits for other mornings



And the coldness felt other side of wall

Sends shivers up body as folks do call

Wanting to share everything they are

As their warmth exudes from bodies afar



And words which flutter on open breezes

Spray ears with wonder, even tho sneezes

Drive out of body wracked with cold felt

As warmth fills ears and blood does flow
