There soon comes a time in all of us
When we must decide about trust ...
Sorting out the good from the bad
Making choices without getting mad
For there are some good folk around
Who are really genuine and sound
And choosing those above the fakes
Is a decision we all can easily make
But it has to come from a good place
Which is not colored by a tight space
In which we find ourselves when hurt
For these bad vibrations tend to skirt
Around the rational sense of mind
For we are caught in quite a bind
Devaluing good and tight connections
Because of a few other imperfections
And so we blind ouselves to truth
For our pain overshadows the good
We've found in others we've cared for
And then back away from that store
Choices must be made from the gut
But colored by interactions which put
Ourselves in a good place continually
And not just once or twice renewed
If we have good vibes time and again
Then chances are we won't complain
When we go over that line to progress
To the very next step in our shared test
