Some see the goodness inherent 

Others do not, blinded by intent

Jealousy veils their soul and eyes

For they are dealing with their lies



And sooner or later it will just rebound

For their made-up facades aren't sound 

And the only true folks are the ones real

Who don't look around for all they can steal



Caring people - who want to help all they can

Folks who live pure, knowing where they stand

And aren't confused at all by the lies of others

For they see the goodness under the covers



Which they peel back, looking for the very soul

They then see, and reach out to grasp and hold

These folks are truly friends deep down to soles

For they wear well their healing power quite bold
