A light which sparkles and shines

Reflecting from a mirror so kind
Hiding all the pain deep within
Which vibrates under skin thin

Tenderness is apparent in words
Formed from thoughts now heard
As reminders of a soul so very frail
Now come, amidst notes which hail

Reminding of a time when joy was lost
When sadness overcame, and quick toss
Of dulled and worn pieces became boss
And then insides fell out because of trust

Already frayed at edges - disintegrated
Amidst darker words, which speculated
So, what could have been was destroyed
And full hearts - were no longer bouyed ...
