Stripped bark
Song of lark
Chirps arrive
A quiet surprise
Snow squalls
Slow calls
Of nature's bloom
Spring comes soon
Coolness subsides
Amidst new rides
Upon sleighs high
Filled with new life
Warmth seeps in
Brightening skin
As petals open
To rays hoping
All's not lost
Amidst floss
Not at all poss'
For ideals ...
weren't tossed ...
