Concerns of the youth are disproportionate
To the goals in life to which they relate
They have some extraordinary objectives
Which quite often do not relate to electives
So they're torn between - I want, and, I must
And this makes a hole big enough for a bus
To drive thru and park itself with room spare
Whilst its driver goes around collecting fares
If we deal with our offspring in ways to show
We are concerned, and, wanting them to glow
In everything they should choose to embark on
Then those choices should bring happy songs
For then they will focus in just one direction
And lose track of things without complexion
Finally arriving in full flower and with petals
Reaching out to soak in rays and all metals
The elements of life without which we die
For we need to absorb all pieces of the pie
The ones which are full of sweetened fruit
And the ones which provide us with suits
Which we then wear proudly on our bodies
For learning has kept us from being shoddy
As we've opened up our minds to kindness
And this has kept us from near blindness ...
