Tomatoes are such a delicious food

If unsprayed - they are quite good

But too many farms now do taint

Them with bugsprays which paint



A film over them not so nice ...

But a quick rinse in cold water

From kitchen tap should suffice

Providing it isn't so thick it alters



The delicate balance of this fruit

Which some call a veggy - not true  

But a fruit just like a peach or pair

Which have a similar softness there



Use them in salads and grill them too

Especially good with eggs, it's true

And perhaps a little ham on side

A lovely blend to make you smile
