Every once in a while, things happen to make you gloomy
When inconsideration comes in floods, and hangs, looming
And folks you thought were nice turn out to be quite mean
Blasting you with painful words to sink you in their streams
And all of the wonder and beauty and goodness under you
Dissipates, then ultimate decimation consquently accrues
As then - you feel it all ebb away with the withdrawing tide
As beautiful pictures in heart, soul, mind and spirit subside
For love has visited in ways you had never really expected
And those vibrations had filled you with thoughts electric
Then they turned, and water which seeped into the plug
Now sends shocks up your arms and legs, and as you tug
Back away from the pain and hurt you feel deep inside
A calmness washes over you, and those sensations arrive
To level you off, and keep you from falling over the edge
As you put it all back together, and look over the ledge ...
