Sometimes the dog brings a light chuckle

For she likes to grab a twig as we muddle
Along on our early-morning walk around block
So she can do her thing, and exercise is stock

Part of daily ritual before all other involvements
Whether it be housekeeping, writing or solving
Daily puzzles of life and ongoing construction
Of sites, systems, pictures, sounds and functions

Which brings everything together in bigger pictures
Assembled from pieces molded from dedication pure
And the constant verifications which need be undertaken
To make sure links are accurate and nothing's mistaken

Like the dog's penchant to have her early-morning bark
Which she can find sometimes difficult - a quite funny lark
For often her mouth is already filled with a stick or twig
Then she has to drop it as barks cause her to lose grip ...
