As we become familiar with people and their ways
We tend to adopt behaviors which lead us astray
And then we're seen in quite clearly fixed patterns
Which others misconstrue in ways which happen
To be based on words exchanged in private chats
Which many seem to think of as indicative of all that
You are, when this is clearly not the case in any way
For each of us has many facets, shown on many days
And the wonderful thing is these will become seen
The more one shares oneself with those who've been
Willing to open themselves up, and share all they are
Regardless of whether they're older, or younger by far
