Abstractors

When we write ideas in the abstract
Are we painting pictures, matter of fact
Or are we choosing objective positions
And are these part of a greater vision?

If we depict a vision with great authority
Does it make it real or does it just ski
- Over the greater substance, full of facts
Or are we just sliding over something black?

Sense the abstract in life and then fill in holes
And then your own picture will have some soul
For you've pieced together a much greater picture
Now you're on solid ground enough to make you sure
