To Each His Own

There are many avenues we can follow in life
Some are wonderful, and have hardly any strife
Others are not quite so, for they're full of grief
For following them - can be tinged with belief

They accomplish something ever-so profound
Beyond the simplistic objectives which abound
I'm not sure everything is quite all that simple
For some things lead to actions which wrinkle

- The brow, and cause quite significant distress
Some of these things would be better of left
To those who can handle ongoing daily stress
Those who can't - can do other things, blessed

- Tristram
