Without Call

Many who have good intentions sometimes do fall
When they come to the conclusion they've said it all
And so they end communication without any last call
For they've taken it all back, and now see you as a fool

It's a shame when we finally arrive at this state of affairs
For nothing's said to explain the situation that's occurred
Communication lacks in so very many ways to extremes
And so you're left floating on a tide rushing in dreams

But love is elusive, and it takes time to properly form
If you're not willing to give it that time, you're forlorn
So then you have to deal with being solitary once again
For you've been cast aside in the wind across the plain

And as you ride upon a gust of air, vibrating so quietly
You wonder what happened to feelings felt so brightly
Which caused you to make long-range plans in your head
Before everything crumbled and left you with feet of lead
