In Heaven



It was just over seven years ago now

When my Dad finally gave up the show

After several heart attacks in early 1970

He managed to keep going for another 20



But then he woke up ill in late part of 91

And had to be taken to hospital for some

- Tests, and a checkup, and restoration

But they could not help at all to strengthen



Heart and lungs which had been neglected

By repeated abuses on body and plexus

So - after three weeks, my Dad succumbed

And went upstairs to the clouds, quite numb



I mention this now because it's his birthday

And this is my way of having respect to pay

To a man who always was wonderful to all

And helpful in so many ways, without call
