Vacuumed the entire rug whilst she was out

Now she's back in with a clean enough snout

And the burrs she'd pulled out of coat over rug

Have now become history, and dog looks smug



So whatever it was, maybe a burr, she choked on

Is now somewhere out there, hopefully, what fun!

And she now sits happily over there on clean carpet

Making yet another new mess as she goes back at it



Well ... it's okay ... she's entitled to her self-grooming

But I think I see another professional one now looming

Perhaps, this coming week would be a darn good time

Then she'll look pretty outside, to match the inside, fine
