The sun just now visited for a short while

Suddenly, the clouds cleared, and smiles

Formed on faces darkened from the lack

Of beauty which forms when it comes back



But now, that temperamental star has hidden

Itself once again, as we go about our bidding

And the temporary brightness has subsided

As those smiles once again become lopsided



Is there logical reason for this weather change?

Or is this January-end-of-month warmth, strange?

I suspect it has a lot to do with this El Ninyo thing

Which I don't really understand, but it has a nice ring!
