So many of the things we do through life

Depend on wires and cables to do it right

Telephone, television, audio, computers

All of it dependent on wires to boot us



Into the next activity we choose to enjoin

Some of it is things we feel in our loins

So we should make sure these are the best

For if they're not, they can put us to the test



Even more simple things like appliances

Are dependent on wires for their reliances

Toasters, coffeemakers and electric kettles 

All depend on good wiring to test our mettle



So make sure they are all working properly

For malfunctioning cables can give us willies

And worse than that - they can also be fire hazards

So check them all thoroughly, and your cupboards
