When we hold a viewpoint and hold it tight

Making us blind to another's way of sight
Where does it leave us? ... are we in a place
Of power, or have we lost sense of space?

The point in doing things in your own way
Is - it makes simple pleasures without pay
But that's alright, because if it works for you
Then you have the right to sing the blues

For whatever it is you state and then stick to
Can be seen as solid character, and not moved
By the opinions of others - not all that important
For the most valued of all, is your own judgment
