Coming around the corner at the top of the hill
Came across a lively image ringing in mind still
A trio of wind chimes hanging from the gutter
All ratttled out their sounds amidst the clutter
Of mind, as we pursued our so lively walk
Causing me to wonder why dog didn't balk
The sudden draft which caused the rattle
Almost blew hat off head and into tatters
But it held on, and now the melodious sounds
Are still ringing in my ears even tho now bound
In my home, where the rushing wind is only seen
Through the glass, and the sounds are only a beam
In my mind, and filtering through all the matter
The convolutions of thought, amidst the prattle
And made me think of yet another time in my life
When wind chimes had a so profound effect, on time
