A light gray sky shines through
Providing no images, or any blue
Just a cold, so empty - clearness
Which reminds me of no nearness
Existing, within my life's framework
Just an emptiness of mind's perks
Coupled with an unbound heart
Drained of love needed to start
New verses fired with much heat
It always happened when the meat
Was shared over a really hot grill
It's even fun remembering, still ...
- Tristram
