Arising from the lake this morning

An apparition - a mist was forming

Covering over the entire water area

The vision could not've been scarier



The near lake was totally enshrouded

In a mist formed by vapors clouded

From change in temperature overnight

An extraordinary development, and sight



Winter in one moment, out the next

Is it a mystery? ... or are we blessed?

Now all the snow's turned into slush

An amazing change, however hushed.
