Even though she has a new collar around neck
She is still scratching this morning, but I expect
There are still a few eggs which've now hatched
Into adulthood, and now travel around her back
But that new flea collar really should do the trick
And in another week, she'll no longer need lick
Her many sores from all of the constant scratching
Which seem to go hand-in-hand, and thus matching
So we'll see what happens, and check things out
After the chemicals have had the chance to spout
And seep into her abundant coat of shaggy dog hair
Which really needs trimming, so she can then stare!
