Telephone trucks tend to visit this area often

And they're always leaving debris behind them
Wires and plastic racks, and wood splinters
All torn off the top of phone poles thru winter

Wherever they've been, there's something fresh
Even on top of new snow, they've made a mess
It seems as though they are always here busy
Which makes me wonder why they get in a tizzy

When signs are placed on poles requesting clean
- Areas be left behind them - not really at all mean
Quite a chore picking up the debris they leave behind
It's a wonder why they don't bother, maybe it's because
they're just blind ....
