The snow now falling slowly down
Looks like it's going to be around
For some time, here, yet to come

It all has turned to rain, they say
So their snow is shortlived today
But here, just an hour northeast
We're in a real blizzard - at least
That's what it seems like right now
And very few signs of stopping show
A heavy fall which will accumulate
And make everyone around here late
But that's okay, it's time we had one
So little there's been, almost none
Now it finally looks like real winter
So we'll accept it fully, as it's no longer
