Hanging above, up there in the sky

A mystery, apparent to both you and I

Half a moon shines its so radiant light

But why is the other half so out of sight?



There are reasons for this phenomena

Explained within the scientific arena

It is understandable to some, I know

But that doesn't quite change the show



Staring up at the mystery unrevealed

One wonders how this is so sealed ...

A naive mind will be well stumped

For the other half has been dumped!
