There are so many ways now to record life's pleasures
Sometimes it becomes difficult to fully take measure
Whether to shoot still pictures or record with video
Or to use moving film and then soup it for a show
And then there's audio, which provides the sounds
Of some things which perhaps there's no need around
But the very best recorder of life's totality is the eyes
Which then converts images to the brain without surprise
There to jell and merge with some interesting thoughts
And thence to turn it all around into something sought
Which a writer does with relish and complete abandon
For then beautiful images will be revealed in tandem
