Go now, be still, my friend, with thy aching heart

Go now, be still, my friend, with thy aching heart
Thou hast been let down thrice in recent memory
Thy four month steady having returned t'other half
Which hast turned thou into a grievng man pilloried.
Thy estranged mistress hast failed yet to come thru
With the promise of making a restoration of pact ...
Pain and suffering of two years past hast now accrued
Still it looks as though there'll never be a going back.
Now thou hast discovered the previous one's also apart
To've found one with whom one gave seventeen years
Art too, separated in mind as well as body, soul, heart
Hast turned on sadness in streams of many heavy tears.
So, go now, my friend, with thy thrice aching heart ...
Learn love again, for th'art yet one with truth, to start.
