So many uses for such a simplistic word

One to do with blame, one - sounds heard

Even another to define some time served

One more to refer to a chat which stirred



Another defines the very least small bit

Which sometimes can make us have a fit

One describes the act of taking property

Another use refers to striking out abruptly



Doesn't matter whether it's fist or speech

But it could be used either way to teach

A lesson in some very intimidatory fashion

Just another way of expressing a passion



One more says we're behaving abusively

Whilst another says we've charmed thee

Another's to do with a very negative quality

Yet another which defines us as quite free



A term of confusion which has so many turns

Depending on how it's used to twist and churn

Not quite so sure its many convoluted meanings

Will really provide us with consistent beaming ...
