It's Assumed ...



It's assumed people who live alone

Are not with it, and thus, they stay home

When, in fact ... it's not that way, no, not at all

Some of us have no other options to pull ...



And so we watch the lives of the others around

In some sense - envying the way they do the town

But knowing, deep down, they're not real winners

For their lifestyles are keeping them thinner ...



Not really insofar as things they eat

But - to some extent ... the people they meet

For the lives of all the folks with whom they seem to connect

May not be any better than our own ... upon reflect ~
