There are many different qualities which some people assign

A few are not worth being bandied about for they're out of line
Some speak of detachment, usualness and even - abstraction
None of which define thoughts which comprise this confection

Of chocolate-covered cherries, candy canes and sweets galore
Which provide so many delicious flavors, giving so much more
Than uplifting thoughts whose value can never be diminished
For ideas which stir up minds and hearts before they're finished

- Will always provide entertainment value, just like a good play
Which has its actors portray characters who speak lines to say
Much of the same things delivered here in abundant thoughts
Sometimes singing their praises of things they hadn't ought ...

But there are no limitations on freedom to speak kind words
Which spill out from these pages in sound not always heard
Words which provide enthusiasm for so many of life's sports
The ones so few tend to talk about - but they can be bought

There is no abstraction here - but rather a fully-dedicated craft
Of words which are strung together in some ways not at all daft
Steeped with feelings which emerge from heart, mind and soul
Full of emotion tinged with passion for minds both young and old.
