At Seven on the Seventh



{Fifty cards ... went out today

Some have been acknowledged ...

But most were lost - in the fray)



It's a celebration in the Eastern church

When the Russians, and others, on altars, perch

Two weeks after the commercial Christmas-time

Praying to the Lord, and thanking HIM, sublime 



Regardless of the date we celebrate Christ's birth

There's much to be revered on this day of mirth

For our praise of the Christ child is never suspect

Acknowledging a miracle ... keeps us in check
