The Lie of Courage

When I think of everything we all go through
The pain and bitterness which cause some to sue
I am struck by the leveled beauty of those who don't
For no amount of money can make up the affront ..

Those who let it all ride, get, from me, great respect
For there is no real winner, in this the ultimate test
But there are winners in the minds of those who pass
As their own ethics are, by their mind, brought to task

- Tristram
