Telegraphy in the East

On this date in eighteen hundred and forty-seven
Two great cities were connected once and forever
New York and Boston ... linked for an eternity ...
With telegraph wires ... establishing paternity ...

For these two cities were founding partners ...
In the land called America ... lighting darkness
For with the telegraph, came instant communication
... Needed ... in order to create growth in the nation

- Tristram
