The Viet-Nam War


Over sixteen years, from fifty-nine to seventy-five
The war fought in Viet-Nam - took many, many lives
But in the final eight years, from sixty-seven on ...
When the fighting escalated to major proportion

Approximately two million Vietnamese were killed
And about sixty thousand Americans came to ill
Including some twenty-five hundred unaccounted
A factor keeping the tensions between us mounted

But it is significant that it took some years of search
To find a single symbolic unknown soldier to inter ...
After many years of looking, it came down to two
And the other was shipped back, as he wasn't true
