Classic Song for a Classic Crooner

On this very date in nineteen forty two
Bing Crosby went into a Decca studio
And, with backing vocals and a band
Would record White Christmas, grand

The song - penned by Irving Berlin ....
Was immortalized by this pairing ...
For the recording became an instant classic
A musical event done in a way quite magic ...

- Tristram
