Snow blows outside the window zigging this way and that

Flurries I think they call them - whenever flakes fly like bats
Kind of like a mass of fireflies or mosquitoes in the summer
When temperatures are the other extreme and we are under

Other nasty problems which cause so much ill and discomfort
For dense humidity is a real burden which not many trumpet
The intensity of that feeling of heaviness in the air around you
Makes one feel so sweaty and down and so you get the blues

But during winter months that feeling is nowhere to be found
For dryness is the only problem whenever you're housebound
So I welcome the flurries of snow which zig-zag in front of glass
It gives me kind of a good feeling as long as it becomes no task.
