In the Eye of the Sun



In the eye of the sun

(There is only the one) 

A hot blaze of a shine

That instantly reminds



There is pictures to make

Of the way the sun bakes

As it nurtures our seeds

For as it shines ... it leads ... 

 

And we become slaves ...

To all of the days ...

When it takes over

For we uncover ...



And give ourselves up

To the brighter cup ...

As it flows over the rim

Completely warming our skin ...
