Brooms ... and ... grooms

In and out of tombs ...
The ones we all make
When we choose to bake ...

Without exactly the right spices
As we're too lazy to right it
And then all the sweeps ...
Are lost to those leaps ...

Others make in their minds
Which are often unkind
About our disposition
As they cannot fit us in

Grooms without their brides
Are singles denied ...
Brooms without which
There's no real witch

And grooms of our pets
Are oft the best best
To make us feel special
Then - we are measured

As when they are smart
It gladdens our hearts
And groom, or not ...
We feel ... the tops ...

- Tristram
