Voices



The sound of friendly voices

Heard exchanges and choices

Endears us so well beyond ...

The written words of which we're fond



There needs to be a willingness to talk

For voiced exchanges are not chalk

As emotions and genuine feelings ...

Are then heard without double-dealings



Voices tend to clarify and emphasize

Humor, tenderness, and even surprise

For there's absolutely no real disguise

And thus, we can sort out truth from lies
