In Her Master's Steps
Walk my pretty, right here beside me
Don't step ahead of mine - for I freeze
I cannot walk in the path that you lead
For my steps go nowhere at all, you see
So you must stay to either one side or the other
And that way ... we both walk free and uncovered
Even if you chose to walk in my steps behind ...
Sooner or later, our steps would still come to bind
So please, Baby ... have a heart and walk beside
And neither one of us will then have steps denied
For the dual forward motion of two bodies in league
Contributes so much to souls being totally at peace
