Oranges, yellows, purples, reds

The sun at dusk shows them best
For the skies are layered with stripes
Merging hues into the brighter night

And drives into the valley dazzle eyes
As the shutter in the mind opens wide
And clicks to freeze that frame in mind
Saving the image to a drive not blind

For replay in the cinema we all have
Upon that wide screen erected at back
And as the projector flickers its light
That pre-saved image flutters to life
