It's been a day dealing with many things

Some good, but not all sounded rings ...

For communication undertaken thinned

And thus, pace slowed to a level dimmed



As the phases changed, and mood swings

Went from charged and elated to lost wins

And now the day's coming to a slow close

As mind drives self to fulfill promised show



Themes now placed on tables to be used

Were somehow glossed over as the blues

Overtook the focus and reshaped direction

Until this real quiet moment of introspection
