It's a new week and a new month

New beginnings ... new trumps ...

To play in the cardgame of life ...

New ways to win, to lessen strife



We can share methods we've adopted

We can distribute things concocted ...

Or, we can draw curtains open wide

And let the sunshine heat our hides



For, in this choice we make, we reflect

Off the things that've made us so suspect

But shun all of this with the new month

As the new beginning, makes us pumped
